The Ponca City Humane Society is a non-profit community organization that provides care for stray and abandoned cats and dogs for as long as necessary, working towards the prevention of cruelty to animals.
As it is important for us to remain a no-kill shelter, we continue to work with Ponca City Animal Control to “Adopt Out” as many cats and dogs as possible.
The PCHuS promotes and educates the public on responsible pet ownership; animal care and health; local, state and federal laws concerning animals, and provides spaying and neutering at a reduced cost to families who qualify.
Our goal is to do our best to reunite lost pets with their owners and find forever homes for as many stray and abandoned cats and dogs as possible throughout the year.
We maintain and sustain temporary shelter for stray and abandoned cats and dogs in connection with the Society’s operations and activities.
